Still more on Katrina, Part Two

An interesting read from Michael Smerconish in the Philadelphia Daily News. His column lists 26 points, some of which you may agree with, some not. Overall, he makes some cogent arguments.

If anyone doesn't know who Smerconish is, he wrote an excellent book called "Flying Blind" about how political correctness is jeopardizing our airline safety. But because Norman Mineta of the DOT was in a Japanese-American internment camp as a child, he feels profiling should NEVER, EVER be used because that would be wrong. Someone please explain to me why this man was held over from the Clinton administration, of all people.
