Ricardo Montalban, R.I.P.

Ricardo Montalban, who starred in roles ranging from Indian to suave lover, to Fantasy Island's Mr. Roarke, to Khan Noonien Singh on Star Trek (the original series and the second movie), to The Dynasty spinoff (The Colbys), to Spy Kids 2/3, Kim Possible, and Freakazoid. Not to mention The Naked Gun. And two Planet of the Apes movies. And pitchman for the Chrysler Cordoba and its 'Corinthian leather.' Obit here from LA Times. Montalban was 88, which means this obit's been written for a while.

He tasks me. He tasks me and I shall have him! I'll chase him 'round the moons of Nibia and 'round the Antares Maelstrom and 'round Perdition's flames before I give him up!
I've done far worse than kill you, Admiral. I've hurt you. And I wish to go on hurting you. I shall leave you as you left me, as you left her; marooned for all eternity in the center of a dead planet... buried alive! Buried alive...!
from Star Trek II: the Wrath of Khan (source: IMDB)

That voice. He will be missed.
